Service Description

Poses like Child’s Pose (Balasana), Cat-Cow (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana), and Downward Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) will help to release tension, stretch key muscle groups, and promote circulation. The focus is on finding ease in the body, fostering a connection to your breath, and preparing both the mind and muscles for the more intense strength work to come. Gentle poses such as Forward Fold (Uttanasana), Seated Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana), and Reclining Bound Angle Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana) will help lengthen the muscles, increase flexibility, and promote relaxation. Mindful breathing is emphasized here to help cool the body down and transition into the final resting phase. Final Resting Pose: Savasana (5-10 minutes) The class ends with Savasana, a time for total relaxation and integration. Lying down in a comfortable position, you’ll be guided to fully relax and let go, allowing your body to absorb the strength and flexibility gains made throughout the practice. The teacher may offer a body scan or gentle breath awareness to help bring a deep sense of calm and closure to the session. You’ll move mindfully through each strength exercise, paying attention to your breath and form. Balance & Flexibility: The fusion of strength and yoga promotes a balanced body—developing not only strength and endurance but also flexibility, relaxation, and mindfulness. Holistic Wellness: This class is about honoring both your body and mind, creating a harmonious practice that nurtures and challenges you in equal measure. By the end of the class, you’ll feel grounded, strong, and centered, having nurtured your body with a blend of mindfulness & yoga.

Please note that classes must be registered to attend 2 hrs prior to start time. We also ask that you give us at least 2 hrs notice to cancel a class. Classes may be canceled if none is attending.
